This website, located at https://mossitas.com (the "Site"), is owned and operated by Mossitas LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing the Site, using our AI assistant "Mossy IA" (the "AI Assistant"), or purchasing products through our direct store or affiliate links, you ("User", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Site.

2. IMPORTANT MEDICAL DISCLAIMER (NOT VETERINARY ADVICE)

READ CAREFULLY: The Site and Mossy IA provide information for educational and informational purposes only.

  • NO VETERINARY CARE: Mossitas LLC is not a veterinary clinic and does not provide professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment for animals.

3. AI ASSISTANT ("MOSSY IA") TERMS

Mossy IA is an experimental tool powered by Artificial Intelligence.

  • LIMITATIONS: AI can "hallucinate" or provide inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. Mossitas LLC does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of any recommendations provided by Mossy IA.
  • USER RESPONSIBILITY: You are solely responsible for verifying any recommendation with a professional veterinarian before administering any supplement or changing your pet's diet.
  • ASSUMPTION OF RISK: You use the AI Assistant at your own risk. Mossitas LLC shall not be liable for any health complications or damages resulting from actions taken based on AI-generated content.

4. AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE

Mossitas LLC participates in various affiliate marketing programs, including the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program.

  • COMMISSIONS: When you click on links to third-party products (e.g., Amazon, Etsy, Walmart), we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Mossitas LLC during the six (6) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or $50.00, whichever is greater.

7. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mossitas LLC from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or any harm caused to your pet or a third party’s pet through the misuse of information provided by our AI Assistant.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Site, including text, logos, AI prompts, and software, is the property of Mossitas LLC and is protected by United States and international copyright laws.

9. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

  • GOVERNING LAW: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
  • VENUE: You agree that any legal action or arbitration arising out of these Terms shall be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
  • ARBITRATION: Any dispute shall be settled by binding arbitration in Miami, Florida, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
